Awesome article...in recent years I have stopped "making it happen", judging others salvation, instead preaching Christ not doing the studies...also keeping friendships even when someone does not respond to the gospel...God opens the heart not me....
“God opens the heart not me”. So true. When I realized and internalized the fact that it’s God’s spirit that directs and opens people’s hearts to lead them to faith in Him, it was very freeing. The pressure isn’t on me to make it happen. It also freed me to realize that so many more people are Christians than I was taught. (I’m not the one to make a judgement about that).
Thanks for writing about this Nadine. I think Gaius’ story is one of the most beautiful and joyful ones in the Chosen series. It truly shows how “letting our light shine” as Christians can impact the people around us.
